I have so much fun at the Buddy Walk for Down Syndrome every year. The weather is usually perfect and the families come together with some of the most creative costumes to bring awareness to the disorder. For the most part, people were ready and willing to take photos at the event to help spread awareness about Down Syndrome. There were a couple parents who seemed a little bit reluctant whenever a camera came close to their little one, but I just want to let you know that there is nothing to be ashamed of. Your child is just as adorable and bright as the next one. They deserve their shine too :-) I pray that the families of anyone with Down Syndrome find the strength to be proud of that life that is in this world. I Love you! -Diamond.
