The Losers Club is back for It: Chapter Two as the gang returns to Derry to face off with the evil Pennywise, 27 years after the original film.
The film stars Jessica Chastain (Beverly Marsh), Bill Hader (Richie Tozier), James MacAvoy (Bill Denbrough) and Jay Ryan (Ben Hanscom) as the older versions of the Loser’s club kids. Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, and Jaeden Martell return as the younger counterparts along with Bill Skarsgard, who is returning as Pennywise.
“Something happens to you when you leave this town, the farther away, the hazier it all gets,” Isaiah Mustafa, the adult version of Mike says in a voiceover. “But me, I never left. I remember all of it.”
The previous trailer had Beverly (Chastain) return to her childhood home only to find an elderly woman living there. The woman invites her into the home and creepily stares down Marsh over tea and cookies before she reveals her connection to Pennywise.
“You know what they say about Derry. No one who dies here ever really dies,” the elderly woman says.
Watch the trailer below. The first film in the remade series made over $700 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing horror movie of all-time. And director Andy Muschietti is warning folks – the sequel is far more scarier. It: Chapter Two arrives on September 6th.
