What’s Up! It’s Amir Diamond and it’s no secret that Theatre is my first love. I’ve been doing plays since the age of 5. I’ve performed in over 30 productions (including stage, film and radio/tv commercials). For 2015, I thought it’d be cool to highlight and share some of my favorite Broadway shows throughout the year. March’s MUSICAL OF THE MONTH is “In The Heights.”
“In The Heights” is a way to ease people into the theater world (who may not necessarily be fans of musicals). It was created by Lin-Manuel Miranda and it infuses rap, latin music and a whole bunch of high energy. Jordan Sparks & Corbin Bleu have both starred in it while it was on Broadway.
