(Undated)  —  Jimmy Fallon will stop at nothing to turn “NBC Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams into a hip-hop star.  On Monday’s “Tonight Show,” Jimmy unleashed a new version of his segment featuring edited clips ofWilliams‘ newscasts set to rap songs.  This time Williams unwittingly performed Snoop Dogg’s “Gin and Juice.”    WATCH HERE:

When Brian sat down with Jimmy, he sarcastically thanked him for making yet another video of him rapping.  He also defended himself by declaring that he’s never said some of the words that get made into lyrics.  Williamseven claimed that in a previous video featuring the song “Rapper’s Delight,” Jimmy’s team had used a clip from a broadcast during the war in Iraq.  While he took issues with some of the videos, they have earned him some recognition.  With deadpan humor, Williams said that Cuba Gooding Jr. once came up to him and told him that he was a “huge figure” in the rap community.  Brian also hoped to have a hand in creating the next mashed-up video of him rapping.  He even suggested some “pre-hearing loss Foxy Brown” or “any Luda.”  Williams then dropped a few verses from Ludacris’ “Rollout.”

Brian Williams also praised Jimmy Fallon for consolidating his house band The Roots to one level and eliminating the “second deck” of performers.  Williams‘ odd pronunciation of “second deck” left Jimmy and the audience wondering if the flub was meant as some sort of innuendo, but the newsman quickly corrected himself and made sure he wasn’t misunderstood.
