A lack of respectMy mom taught us to always respect our elders. Yes sir and no sir are still a part of my vocabulary today. Talking today’s youth it seems like those words are a thing of the past. You’re more likely to get an explicative thrown back at you than anything approaching an appropriate response. What happened? Are kids today less respectful, or do they have a new way to communicate. Have parents stopped teaching proper etiquette or are the kids straight out rejecting it. I don’t know. What I do know is that Yes Sir and No Sir will get you a long way in the right situations. You give what you get in this life and if you don’t give respect you will never get it.
