The Met Gala has had plenty of moments already tonight. One, 2 Chainz got engaged. Two, Beyoncé already told people she wasn’t coming and the Heavenly Bodies theme has been amazing. Now we have to add one more thing to it — Nicki Minaj revealed when her album is dropping.
Nicki announced that her album, blessed with a bit of divinity will simply be titled Queen and drop June 15 – right in the middle of Kanye West’s reported spree of album releases and Drake‘s Scorpion release. Since she came out of hiding this Spring, Nicki’s dropped two singles and videos in “Chun-Li” and “Barbie Tingz“. Now dropping an album announcement on the Met Gala red carpet?
Well, you can expect Queen to shake up some things when it arrives next month.
