WATCH: Solange Accepts Harvard Foundation Artist of the Year Award

Congratulations to Solange on receiving Harvard Foundation’s “2018 Artist of the Year” award.

Solange shares her journey as a teen mom finding herself and launching her career.

She says, “I was content living in Idaho, with a GED education, writing for other artists and commercials…I didn’t want to speak or feel worthy until I had something to say.”
