Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo kicked off the week with the Annual Downtown Rodeo Parade on Saturday, February 24th. The rodeo buzz filled the streets as we watched trail riders, runners, floats, and our good ole friend Howdy parade the streets of Downtown Houston.

Now this isn’t our first rodeo, but this was definitely a first for those getting a chance to witness The 31st Annual Rodeo Run featuring approximately 9,000 participants in the wheelchair race, the 10k race and 5k fun run/walk. Presented by ConocoPhillips, nearly $5 million in entry fees has been contributed to the Rodeo since the race’s inception in 1988.
