Leave it to Tyler Perry to get the last word. As social media tried to come after the Hollywood mogul over a perceived jealously with Black Panther’s record-breaking success, Perry decided to stunt on the one place you stunt on all of your haters: Instagram.
I know a lot of people joke about an actual Wakanda and have rolled out the memes about building our own Wakanda but still. Tyler Perry Studios sits on 330 acres of land in Atlanta, aka where Black Hollywood resides. It’s one of the largest motion picture studios in the United States and happened to be the location for where much of Black Panther was shot.
Now it’ll be an entirely different story if Madea Goes To Wakanda ever happens.
