he Lyon’s aka “the first family of music’ are also one of the messiest families in television history. Episode 15 of Empire only magnified that with the constant dissension among the ranks and backstabbing that this family will never be on the same page. Hakeem is having the worst week ever, he’s no longer CEO, Anika’s is having his child and his fiancee Laura want’s nothing to do with him after he reveals the baby to her.
Hakeem finally accepts it and welcomes the idea of having a cub, and he eventually wins the heart of Laura back. Things get a little scary as Anika suffers a panic attack and has to be taken to the hospital, but thanks to Cookie she was able to calm down and the baby was fine.

Jamal is still wants nothing to do with his father despite Cookie’s best efforts to fix their relationship for the sake of the company.
Andre seems to have regained his composure and is working on patching things up with Rhonda.They get back to their sneaky ways and make a play for taking over Empire again.
Things get shaky between him and Lucious when a reporter who Lucious played reveals to Dre that his grandmother who also suffers from bi-polar disorder is still alive.
Tonight’s episode ends with though Lucious and Cookie being named co-c.e.o’s by board. Cookie was reluctant at first of the news but Lucious welcomed the idea but of course he has something up his sleeve.
