TMZ has announced that Sting was set to retire from wrestling since the neck injury that e obtain from the Night of Champions in September never healed.
Sting’s career began wrestling with Continental Wrestling Association in 1985 to 1986 under the name Flash, teamed up with Jim “Justice” Hellwig and he wrestled with various organizations until 2016.

At 56-years old, Sting’s injury was more serious then expected and later was diagnosed with cervical spinal stenosis… this condition affects the nerves that results in “extreme pain and discomfort.”
It was announced by WWE that Sting would be inducted into the Hall of Fame too.
