50 Cent raised eye brows when he started flashing cash on Instagram after filing for bankruptcy protection last year and now a Connecticut judge wants answers.

50, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, filed for bankruptcy in July, days after a jury ordered Fif to pay $5 million to Rick Ross‘s baby mama, Lastonia Leviston, who accused Mr. Jackson of posting a sex tape of her online.  He was also ordered to pay her an additional $2 million.

The 50 Cent cash flashing IG photos caused Judge Ann Nevins to be concerned about the “allegations of nondisclosure and lack of transparency” at a February bankruptcy court hearing.

The Judge asked 50 to explain the photos of him posing next to a pile of cash with the bills arranged into letters spelling out the word “Broke.”

Here are other 50 money shots.

Fif’s response was clear. “Just because I am photographed in or next to a certain vehicle, wearing an article of clothing, holding a product, sitting next to what appears to be large sums of money or modeling expensive pieces of jewelry does not meant that I own everything in those photos,” he wrote.  He’d also go on to say that those post contained fake cash.

Seems things have turned in the last few hours.  Here are a few lead up posts from the “Get Rich Or Die Trying” rapper before he decided to quit Instagram.

My guess is this image is court approved.#EFFENVODKA
