50 Cent’s G-Unit Sneakers Sell Out in Hours

50 Cent did it again! The rapper’s iconic G-Unit G6 sneakers made their long-awaited return, and fans wasted no time buying them up.
The G-Unit G6, created through 50 Cent’s partnership with Reebok, returned Thursday, August 20, for $130. The sneaker is a throwback to the original 2003 version, featuring the classic white, blue and red colorway.
And the demand was REAL! The sneakers reportedly sold out on Reebok’s website in about two hours, with 50 Cent celebrating the quick sellout on social media.
The G6 originally became a major part of early-2000s hip-hop fashion during the height of G-Unit and 50 Cent’s success following Get Rich or Die Tryin’.
More than 20 years later, the nostalgia is still strong. Fans who missed the retail release are already seeing the sneakers appear on resale platforms for prices above the original $130 retail price.
50 Cent just proved that G-Unit still has the power to move sneakers!
