I fell in love with Chance The Rapper’s music when he performed at Free Press Summer Fest earlier this year. I will never forget hearing the passion of his voice mixed with the sultry sounds of The Social Experiment for their song “Sunday Candy.” For once it was a rapper who was actually using his platform to talk about something meaningful. (Whispers) Strip clubs and dollar bills get old quick. It was dope to see how people of different races were jamming out together to his tunes. Watch the promo video for his new “Family Matters” tour below. He’s coming to the H on Nov. 12…. and I plan on being in the building :-)
