The Family
First of all, I seriously want to meet whoever casted this movie and shake their hand, because casting Robert De Niro as the lead character was an A M A Z I N G choice! The man has seriously played a mobster in like 95% of his movies and a crazy father in law in the other 5% (this is a huge exaggeration but it feels that way for sure). Him being the centerpiece was perfect and the pieces around him were just as good, his family is hilarious and downright wicked at points. The movie follows De Niro and his family all the way to small town in France as they hide from his former boss, who he ratted out for immunity (Vito Corleone would be ashamed!!!). Life in French paradise is compromised as the family can’t stay out of trouble and soon after insanity ensues.
The trailer shows a lot of great action scenes but the movie is hilarious and that’s what truly kept me locked in
