LUV
“Luv” is about the day in the life of woody, an 11-year-old boy who gets a crash course in what it means to be a man when he spends a day with the ex-convict uncle he idolizes who is played by Common, Usually when we think of Common we tend to think of a rap icon who can spin words into amazing stories, well this time he uses his amazing acting skills to tell the story. Common has dabbled in the world of film before, showing slightly different sides of him but hasn’t done anything like this. Just by looking at the trailer you can see that not everything goes as planned and they face trials & tribulations all while building a bond. Luv was honestly a pleasant surprise for me and was one of those flicks that really caught my attention just because Common was a part of it.
