Happy Waffle Day!
(Undated) — There’s another reason to love breakfast. It’s International Waffle Day, and across the globe revelers are slicing strawberries, drizzling syrup and digging in to the most important meal of the day. The holiday originated in Sweden and commemorates the first day of spring. However, the U.S. typically celebrates on August 25th to mark the anniversary of the first American waffle iron patent.
