HOUSTON — A woman was killed when a speeding car crashed into a sign, KPRC Local 2 reported.
The crash happened in front of a police substation in the Fondren Southwest Village shopping center on Fondren Road near West Bellfort at about 9:15 a.m. Thursday.
Investigators said the driver of a Lexus was fleeing from an accident in the parking lot of a Fiesta grocery store.
