The City of Houston says a teen is the latest victim of the H1N1 virus.

On Thursday, Houston city health officials announced a teen became the first confirmed fatality from H1N1 virus in Houston. Last week, the Harris County Medical Examiner said three men ages, 45, 50, and 53, all died from the disease from late November through the middle of December.
In recent weeks, the virus has contributed to several illnesses and deaths in other areas around Houston.
On Friday, Texas health leaders issued a statewide flu alert in wake of the growning number of cases.
