Golf Course under fire for Insensitive 9-11 ad

(Verona, WI)  —  A golf course near Madison, Wisconsin is apologizing for a promotion many are calling inappropriate and disrespectful.  On this 12th anniversary of the September 11th terror attacks, Tumbledown Trails offered nine holes of golf for nine-dollars-eleven-cents, and 18 holes for the price of 19-eleven.  After the outcry the owners apologized, saying they would still honor the deal for those who already have tee times, but would donate the difference between the special price and the regular fee to the 9-11 Memorial fund.
