I’m like most parents. I only want a few things in life. 1) Some privacy in the bathroom 2) The big piece of chicken when we sit down for meals and 3) At least 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep.
I could probably just lock the door to the bathroom and be the first to eat but the 4 hours of sleep is elusive. Mainly because the Lil General is screaming for a bottle almost every time he tosses and turns.
I know it’s mostly our fault because he’s 2.5 and we should have transitioned him off the bottle around 10 months. But, what’s done is done. I need help now! I’m tired of going to bed at 12am and waking right back up around 1:15a to be my sons personal servant.
So what’s the best way to help him kick the late night bottle habit? Cold turkey? Weaning? Bribes?
