The new remake of We are the World has now been unveiled with over 75 artists participating in the new song. We are the World originally was created by Quincy Jones, and a number of star musicians twenty-five years ago as part of the supergroup “USA for Africa”. This impressive assembly of musical talent included Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder and the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Now the We are the World 2010 video is making its rounds as fans seek to see the newest version of this song, in an effort to raise relief funds for Haiti. The remake was assembled by Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie as they brought together a legion of musical talents.

The new version of the song features the likes of Miley Cyrus, Lil’ Wayne, Wyclef Jean, P!nk, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber. Also, singing the part of her late brother, Janet Jackson makes an appearance on the track. Jamie Foxx introduces the remake with a brief background on how both the original song and new track were made. As for the Haiti relief efforts, Foxx asks viewers to reach deep into their hearts and give whatever they may have big or small. The song opens with young singing sensation Justin Bieber singing as well as Jennifer Hudson and Nicole Scherzinger. Tony Bennet, Mary J Blige, Barbara Streisand and Janet Jackson are soon shown doing their parts with some surprise appearances from the late King of Pop.

Once you see the new version, you’ll notice there’s quite a collection of We are the World 25 artists appearing in the video. Lil’ Wayne pops up for his half rapped-half autotune singing line. You’ll also see Akon, American Idol’s Randy Jackson, Miley Cyrus, T-Pain, actor Jeff Daniels and Wyclef Jean doing his part. Rap stars LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg and will.i.am also have a rap breakdown in the song. Making a surprise appearance and rap towards the end is Kanye West. Taylor Swift is not seen anywhere nearby.
