Whew! Nick Cannon and Raven-Symoné had the internet talking after their convo on The Daily Cannon podcast. The clip, posted to IG, dives into whether or not it’s normal—or even acceptable—to fantasize about other people while in a committed relationship. Raven opened up and said that while she doesn’t act on those thoughts, her mind still occasionally wanders. Nick, on the other hand, co-signed the idea that it’s “natural” and even suggested that people can love someone deeply and still entertain fantasies about someone else. The exchange definitely had people in the comments split, with some agreeing it’s just human nature, while others were like: “Nah, if your mind is somewhere else, maybe your heart is too.”

Listen—I’m gonna keep it real. I don’t believe you should be fantasizing about other people if you’re in a relationship. Period. Yeah, the mind does its own thing sometimes, but to me, if you consistently find your thoughts drifting to someone who isn’t your person, then that might be a sign you’re not where you really want to be. We’ve all heard the “you can’t control every thought” argument, but you can control where you let your mind linger. Fantasizing about someone else while you’re in a relationship just doesn’t sit right with me—it’s giving emotional cheating, even if it’s just in your head.
