All aboard! Now through Sept. 6th you can experience the all-new electric trains at Hermann Park for FREE. A pair of new locomotives made their debut Labor Day Weekend, and according to Conservancy president and CEO Cara Lambright, they represent a step in the right direction for the future of our city and planet.
“The introduction of the electric trains to the Park represents a leap forward in our commitment to environmental stewardship and visitor experience,” Lambright said. “We are deeply grateful to ExxonMobil and the McGovern Foundation for their generous support, which not only preserves but elevates the Hermann Park Railroad as a premier attraction for visitors of all ages.”
The Hermann Park Railroad has been around for about 70 years and funds raised from the trains (around $1.2M annually) go right back into park maintenance and improvements.
