April 25, 2011 marks the 9th anniversary of the death of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes of the group TLC.  Left Eye died in a car accident while on retreat in the Honduras.

Big Boi just premiered the latest video from his Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son Of Chico Dusty album.  The  clip is for “Be Still” featuring Janelle Monae.

We first encountered Def Sound and his music a few weeks ago at J*DaVeY‘s show at SOB’s in NYC.  Def Sound opened for the group and played with the group during their set.  One of the songs we heard him perform, “(A)Gain” was an instant favorite of ours.
