The church doors of Freebandz Baptist are officially open. Future‘s been teasing fans with The WIZRD album since the end of 2018 and now the 20-track album is finally here. Featuring “Jumpin’ On A Jet” and “Crushed Ice,” the album boasts features from Travis Scott, Tay Keith, 808 Mafia, Young Thug, Gunna, and Travis Scott.

“In 2018 I just didn’t want to do anything,” Future revealed to Zane Lowe in a recent interview. “Five years I was on the road. Four or five tours all across the world, just doing it two, three times back to back. Soon as I get off a tour I got to go on another tour in two weeks, go on another tour. I never get a chance to vacation. I never get a chance to go nowhere, so 2018 was my first time going different places, and trying different, new experiences, and staying places over two weeks.”

As far as calling the album The WIZRD, it’s a reference to a family nickname.

“My uncle used to always call me ‘the wizard,’ Future revealed to Genius’ Rob Markman. “Rest in peace, but that was his thing. He called me ‘the wizard’ and it was just showing love to him and also dedicating this album to him and the name that he respected and I feel like I’ve worked for and I’ve worked to become everything he’s seeing before it even happened.”
