Nike is gearing up to release a Home & Away series of their classic Air Max 95 and the Houston edition features a very familiar color scheme to the city.
The shoe features a solid-white base with accents of multiple shades of gray and a double cup-inspired purple on the Swoosh. The inner tongue and silhouettes of Texas are stamped on the tongue and in-sole with black-and-white “HOU” script on the side panel, tongue and in-sole.
The best feature? A screw graphic on each heel, a tribute to the legendary DJ Screw and chopped and screwed music.
Perhaps even doper, Foot Locker tapped Maxo Kream to be the face of the Home & Away release which hits Foot Locker retailers in the Houston area and online today. The Home version release for the other featured cities, Atlanta and Miami hits Foot Locker and online Foot Locker retailers today with the Away versions arriving on December 22.
