Cristiano Ronaldo is already one of Nike Soccer’s biggest gets and one of the greatest soccer players in the world, ever. Nike decided to double down on their love for CR7 with a “Portugal” colorway of his Patchwork Air Max 97.
The story behind Ronaldo’s kicks is that his mother patched together the holes from his lone pairs of soccer shoes, hence the patchwork that adorns the shoe. The Air Max “CR7” features a colorful heel strap and green and yellow aglets that are accompanied by multiple lace options. Pairs of the Nike Air Max 97 CR7 “Portugal” are expected to arrive at select retailers in limited quantity retailing for $170.
