Before he drops his new album CHAMPIONSHIPS on Friday, Meek Mill has announced that he’s going back on the road!
The Dreamchasers / MMG rapper has announced a brand new tour kicking off new year in Miami with stops in Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Washington D.C. and more.
Elsewhere, Meek penned an op-ed for the New York Times that was published Monday. Titled “Prisoners Need a New Set of Rights,” Meek wrote about his own experience with the criminal justice system. “It’s clearer than ever that a disproportionate number of men and women of color are treated unfairly by a broken criminal justice system,” he wrote. “The system causes a vicious cycle, feeding upon itself — sons and daughters grow up with their parents in and out of prison, and then become far more likely to become tied up in the arrest-jail-probation cycle. This is bad for families and our society as a whole.”
