Well, here it is. After one of the longest and more awkward press runs in recent memory, Kanye West‘s eighth studio effort Ye is here. J-Que liked it when he went to the fireside chat / listening session in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
The album features Ty Dolla $ign, Kid Cudi, Jeremih, Young Thug, 070 Shake, Charlie Wilson and a Nicki Minaj voicemail. Similar to Pusha T‘s Daytona, all the beats were produced by Kanye and it only checks in at 7-tracks. Song titles include “I Thought About Killing You,” “Ghost Town” and “Wouldn’t Leave.”
In case you were wondering what the lyrical content ranged from, Ye discusses everything of the moment from Stormy Damiels and North Korea to Russell Simmons and his own controversial, “Slavery was a choice” comments.
