This past weekend’s recent snow didn’t stop Future and the FreeWishes foundation for supplying kids with a free treat. Future put on his Santa hat early and hosted a free screening of the upcoming animated feature Ferdinand which stars WWE superstar John Cena.

Future’s screening follows Boris Kodjoe’recent screening (he also stars in the film) held in California last week as we quickly approach the films release date.

The film is based off the classics children’s book which tells the story of Ferdinand  a bull that is love-a-bull (see what we did there) that also likes to smell the roses instead of participating in bullfights. When he is mistaken for a dangerous beast he is taken away from his peaceful home. He embarks on a fun-filled journey and along the way meets a band of misfits that will help him get back home.

Notables on hand at Regal Atlantic Station consisted of the host Future, his mom Stephanie Jester and his children, DJ Fadelf his wife Egypt Sherrod and their kids, Arin Jackson and her family, Freda Robinson, Tia Anderson, Lisa Le, Jasmine Crowe and other invited guest.
