The new Mercedes-Benz Stadium opens this month along with a new Chik-fil-A eatery that the Atlanta Falcon fans won’t be able to use for their seven Sunday home games.
The new stadium is set to host the NFL team the Atlanta Falcons, the Atlanta United (MLS) games, but it’s going to host college football and of course concerts too.

On Dec. 7, the Falcons will host the New Orleans Saints for Thursday Night Football and that is the only 2017 game that the stadium visitors and fans will be able to enjoy the fast-food chain.
All Chick-fil-A stores have been closed on Sunday since 1946 and they’re still going strong with tradition.
“Having worked seven days a week in restaurants open 24 hours, [founder] Truett [Cathy] saw the importance of closing on Sundays so that he and his employees could set aside one day to rest and worship if they choose – a practice we uphold today,” the restaurant’s website said.
