The Carmelo trade between New York and Houston is going slow, but might almost be done…
Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN tweeted out on Wednesday saying, “Sources: Knicks, Rockets working on Carmelo Anthony trade scenarios that include four-team deals. Sides motivated but no agreement imminent.”
Little hints have been going around. First we have Chris Paul quoted as saying, “Man, sit back and wait…” referring to Carmelo coming to H-town.
Then there are other rumors since the Rockets got CP3 about Anthony…
And the biggest hint came from the Rockets Nenê posted a picture on his Instagram of Carmelo wearing a #15 Rockets jersey and a caption saying, “Wow he will look Great in this uniform and I can’t wait to get back on old Time like in Denver with him… did you guys remember?”
As of now, they’re saying that Anthony’s salary is making it difficult for the Rockets to take him… that’s without moving someone out.
Who? Perhaps Ryan Anderson who makes $20 million a year?
