Bailey Markham Begins His Crusade To Clear Greg’s Name!

Greg’s mentor, Bailey Markham doesn’t believe that Greg is the mole and is on a mission to clear Greg’s name. He first meets up with Mak and Mike so they can get testimony from him to the lay timeline of Greg’s movements the day he was killed.

Bailey reveals to them that Greg reached out to discuss his suspicions of James and Tommy. Mak immediately counters Bailey by saying that Nox and Tommy were working together and that it was Greg that gave Tommy the inside information that got Lobos killed. Bailey of course is not buying that story and was like:

Baily is not trying to hear that and insists that Angela is the mole and not his guy Greg. Mak doesn’t really care about the motive, his main objective is to put Ghost behind bars. Bailey is only here for the truth, he tells Mak and Mike that he will help them if they promise to present Greg as good man killed in the line of duty and investigate Angela as the mole. Mak was like:

Bailey leaves the meeting pretty upset at the outcome and they still believe that Greg is the mole. BUT and interesting tidbit came out of it when he mentioned that Greg called Mike during that timeline before he was killed. Before he leaves the building Bailey makes one more stop to speak face to face with Angela.

Bailey gets right to the point and lets Angela know he really doesn’t care for her and wants to know that he blames her for Greg’s death. Bailey wants Angela to confess to being the mole but Angela isn’t down to confess to something she didn’t do. She tells Bailey though that she also wants justice for her ex-boyfriend and that she’s going to see this through to the end. Welp another dead-end for Bailey, but his crusade to clear Greg’s name wont stop there. Bailey links up with Saxe to break down his theory to him because he feels since he was Greg’s friend Saxe will listen to him.

Bailey tells Saxe about the recording he has of Tommy confessing to killing Lobos with Ghost. It completely contradicts the prosecutions motive. BUT Bailey seems to have made more progress with Saxe than he did with everyone else on the prosecution team. Saxe with the newfound information immediately runs to the judge to have a conversation.

He fills in the judge about learning about the recording off the illegal wiretap which has Tommy saying he killed Lobos with the help of Ghost. Unfortunately for Saxe this judge goes by the books and tells Tommy there’s no chance that recording will make it into his court as evidence due to it being illegally obtained. Saxe quickly dismisses himself after embarrassing himself. Bailey thinks all avenues have been exhausted but he gets a surprise visit from Mike Sandoval.

Mike tells Bailey about the phone call between him and Greg and how Greg told him his theory about Angela being the mole and that she has been aiding Tommy and Ghost all along. Bailey reveals to him he has evidence that suggests that Greg isn’t the mole but it’s inadmissible. Mike gets excited at the thought and tells Bailely he might be able to work around it.

Bailey seems a bit hesitant to give it to him and tells him that it isn’t the time or place to reveal it right now. BUT he does say if they work together he thinks they can spook Ghost into flipping on Tommy and at the least they both do time and Greg gets exonerated. Mike tells Bailey to let him know when he is ready to meet and Bailey tells him he will keep in touch. Bailey is still skeptical of Mike and as he leaves he opens up a personal file of Mike on his lap top.
