I woke up this morning with an attitude. I felt tension in my shoulders as I wrestled with the thoughts of my father not making an effort to be in my life. I was envious toward every tweet and photo I saw of other people wishing their Dads a Happy Fathers Day. After a couple of hours, I came to the realization that I needed to redirect my energy to the people who have been amazing role models and father figures to me. YOU should do the same.
Happy Fathers Day To The Man Who Taught Me How To Ride A Bike, To Look People In Their Eyes, Give A Firm Handshake, Hold Doors For Women, And To Always Keep My Word. Thank You For Stepping Up And Teaching Me And My Brother How To Be Amazing! You Were A Very Influential Person In Our Lives. I Love You, J. Russell.
