THANKSGIVING DAY SHOPPING

Just like any Old Navy ad, they were put together an a typical ad to promote their most recent sale of 30 percent off of your purchase.
In this ad, Old Navy had an interracial couple with their son to promote their latest sale.
They posted the ad on Twitter with their post saying:

Oh, happy day! Our  is finally here. Take 30% off your entire purchase: http://oldnvy.me/1LUMNBd

After Old Navy posted their sale ad on Twitter, some people either posted positive comments, thanking them for such a great ad or they were ugly and racists with their comments.

In the racist parts, some people started saying that the ad was “absolutely disgusting” and that it was a “genocide of the white race” while using hashtags like #WhiteGenocide and #AntiWhite.

Old Navy supports the GENOCIDE of the White race!

It takes a White mother and a White father to make a White baby

@OldNavy Absolutely disgusting. What’s next? Gender neutral bathrooms? Pedophilia acceptance propaganda?! Never shopping here again.

Thankfully, Old Navy is going to stand firm for their sales ad with saying, “We are a brand with a proud history of championing diversity and inclusion. At Old Navy, everyone is welcome.”

Hey @OldNavy, my family and I thank you for the diversity in this ad! , no matter the color ❤️pic.twitter.com/TjgYUPMGu4

@OldNavy thank u 4 this ad.I shared a pic of my bro(who serves his country overseas)and his beautiful family

The models who are posing for the Old Navy ad took to their Instagram and posted these words

Here is the female in the ad:

gracemaharyIn light of the controversy revolving around my pretend family… I am proud to be representing interracial love, multiculturalism, and most importantly, a mentality that supports opportunity for all ethnicities. Thanks @oldnavy 🙆🏾 #lovewins#hatefreezone 💛

Here is the male in the ad:

  • clay_pollioniI’m extremely proud to have taken part in a campaign that not only celebrates our nation’s diversity, but also unites families with multicultural backgrounds and promotes love of all kinds!

    #LoveWins Thank you @oldnavy

This isn’t the first backlashed received over an interracial ad that sales something… back in 2013, General Mills released a Cheerios ad with an interracial family. It was this cute ad that then forced GM to disable their comments section on their YouTube video’s posting.
Tell us what do you think?
