It’s not often that school’s can reproduce the music to Broadway shows in a way that ends up being just as great as the original cast recording. Curie High School’s Musicality Vocal Ensemble did a damn good job at capturing the tone of “Wait For It” from the new Grammy-nominated musical “Hamilton” by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Each soloist’s voice painted a vivid picture of what this song really means. Curie High School helped me understand who the character of Aaron Burr is… and that’s what theater is supposed to be about. Watch this group of students shine bright like A.
