This could be the most lit music festival of all time.
Rae Sremmurd is organizing an inaugural SremmFest in their hometown this year. The arrival of their first ever music festival is set to go down in Tupelo, Mississippi on December 18-21, and will feature performances by DeJ Loaf, Yo Gotti, K Camp, Two-9, and their mentor/super producer Mike WiLL Made-It.
In an exclusive interview with Billboard, Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi explained why they felt compelled to bring a music festival to Tupelo. “We’re trying to bring good vibes back to our hometown and to bring positivity through the music that’s brought us from Tupelo, Mississippi, to all across the world,” Slim Jxmmi said.
Since their breakout single “No Flex Zone” went viral in the summer of 2014, Rae Sremmurd released their revered debut album SremmLifeand went on a massive international tour, hitting the most popular music festivals around the world.
