I bet some of you didn’t realize the importance of brushing the dog’s teeth was. The AKC, American Kennel Club is telling us why dental hygiene is a necessity for the dogs.
The side effects of not taking care of your pet’s teeth can lead to your pet having bad breathe, gum disease, oral infections, and even more server side effects are the inability to eat.

They can get an infected tooth roots with open sore on their cheeks and in the worst case scenarios, they can have bad kidneys, heart, and liver problems.
Dental hygiene isn’t easy for all pets especially considering that they don’t like the process… the taste or the feel of the brush. It’s a must to try… my dog, Katy, she likes to lick the toothpaste off the brush and eventually she ends up chewing the brush, but she needs it.
They say that when you’ve brushed your pets teeth, afterwards, reward them and praise them too… get them used the process.
