It amazes me how Kevin Hart’s star power has grown since his “Paper Soldier” days. He’s on hit tv shows, acting in blockbuster movies and selling out the Houston Toyota Center…not once… not twice… but three times in a row! My cousin tried his hardest to put me on to lil Kev almost a decade ago and I did not see what the big deal was. I slept on this guy’s talent heavy. But now… I gotta give it to him. He’s worked his ass off and hasn’t let his success take over who he is as a person. I would imagine that it’s the reason why God continues to bless him beyond belief.
I attended the second Saturday night show over the weekend and noticed that Hart didn’t talk bad about any audience members during his set. I applaud that because often times, comedians think the only way to be funny is by bringing others down. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Bravo, Kevin! That’s my kind of guy.
