Up until April 2015, Beyonce was the only female artist that I’ve been obsessed with. I now have a new love to add to the list: Kehlani. I can appreciate singers/rappers who still find it necessary to pull from personal experiences to create their art. It’s obvious that K’s Tsunami Mob (name of fans) can relate to her because her “You Should Be Here” mixtape managed to get over a million plays in 24 hours! Big stars are showing this 20-year-old love and Trey Songz is one of the ones who just gave her a major co-sign. Jam the remix to “The Way” and let me know whether you’re feeling this new wave.
