Charles West who signed a letter of intent to BYU was shot the other day after playing a basketball game at a middles school in Texas.
West is an 18-year old three-star running back from the Texas town Coppell, a suburb out of Dallas.
West was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital after being shot in his upper arm after a dispute with another 18-year old, Montay Howard and Howard was later arrested for shooting West.
After his release from the hospital, West took to his Twitter page and posted “For all who is concerned I’m fine. May the lord be with everyone.”
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time this year that West has been in the news…
West made the news in January when he was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
He was said to have held a knife to her throat, but the lady refused to take any forensic examination.
