The hot series “Power” debuted it’s Season 2 on Saturday!
In case you haven’t caught the show yet, here’s a rundown of what it’s about…. The series “Power” is a about man named James St. Patrick aka “Ghost.”
Ghost runs a hot legit nightclub in New York along with that business, Ghost is a major player in one of the biggest “illegal” drug networks.
He’s married to Tasha and he has his mistress on the side, Angela. He wants to end his drug business to continue with the legit business and his side chick.
The show was created by Courtney Kemp Agboh and is produced by a few people, one of which is Curtis Jackson, aka 50 Cent.
He doesn’t only produce, he’s also a a character in the show too as Kanan.
According to the Starz website, the character Kanan was Ghost’s former boss. Kanan had been in prison for years on a drug charge. Also, years ago, he took both Ghost and Tommy under his wing and has been mentoring Ghost and advising him too.
Before the season 2 aired on Satureday, 50 did a Q&A on the Power’s Facebook page, answering questions about new music and talked about the show.
He also said, “I think Power definitely can be on the go screen. I wanna work out a potential movie with Lionsgate.”
He also talked about the characters that he helped to create with Courtney Agboh saying, “Characters were developed from personal experience. Courtney designed the show.”
When asked where the idea of the show Power came from, he also said, “Power is like the television version of Get Rich or Die Tryin’.”
In an article that was done a month before the show’s season 1 opened, you get to know “9 Things to Know About 50 cent’s Starz Drama ‘Power.'” That’s just what they titled it…
