It looks like the Cavs’ Iman Shumpert isn’t in a joking mood these days… first he had issues claiming that the show Empire stole his and his girlfriend’s lives for the shows script. This is alleged allegations that are claims solely by Shumpert.
His latest unhappy moment happened on Wednesday during a press conference during their media day when he was approached by Guillermo.
If you have ever seen the Jimmy Kimmel’s Live show than you would know that Guillermo is the security guard that is sent out to do street hits for Kimmel.
This is a bit that Guillermo has done in the past and to bigger celebs than Shumpert too. He recently did this joke bit the red carpet walk for a Mayweather/ Pacquiao media day and everyone was fine with it too. You can even watch it again and see how the Mayweather family are even having fun with Guillermo too.
Not everyone knows how to enjoy it, because Shumpert doesn’t appear to think that Guillermo’s joke bit was funny. While Shumpert at the mic Guillermo asked him if he could level his flat top.
Shumpert’s reaction to that joke was rude and he says to Guillermo, “you’re playin'” and after he says that, he looks over his shoulder telling the people behind the scenes to come get him because “he’s playin’.”
When it comes down to it, everyone has a job to do and that was Guillermo’s job that day… doing the street hit for Kimmel.
You can clearly hear Guillermo apologize to Shumpert and he leaves.
Jimmy Kimmel Live’s show airs tonight doing a Game Day type show and going out to the media day was most likely going to air on tonight’s game day program.
