Today, Bellator MMA has filed a lawsuit against Quinton “Rampage” Jackson from leaving his contract with them and returning to the UFC company.
A statement was released today saying, “Today, Belabor MMA was compelled to go to court to stop Quinton “Rampage” Jackson from fighting in an April 25th bout promoted by Bellator’s competitor, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Jackson, who has completed only three fights of his exclusive six-fight contract with Bellator, is barred by contract from fighting for any promoter other than Bellator. Our lawsuit for an injunction and related relief- filed in the Chancery Division of the Superior Court in Burlington county, New Jersey- will compel Jackson to honor his contractual agreement. We look forward to having one of our MMA stars fighting for Bellator again.”

Rampage’s contracted allowed him to “moonlight” as a pro wrestler at TNA too. It didn’t last long, but seemed like a “no-brainer” for him at the time.
In January, Rampage said that he could file a countersuit against Bellator for $10-20 Million dollars too.
Rampage is unhappy that Bellator refused to provide pay-per-view numbers for the fight in May 2014 where he defeated Muhammed “King Mo’ Laval. Belabor is “contractually obliged to provide those numbers.
Rampage is scheduled to make a UFC comeback in UFC 186 in Montreal against Fabio Maldonado.
Let’s see what happens here.
