On Wednesday, the Texans’ offensive linebacker, David Quessenbery announced the best news ever!! He announced that his cancer is now in remission and he’s currently on a 30-month maintenance program. He has hopes that he can rejoin his Texans team again .

“It feels amazing,” Quessenberry said during an appearance Wednesday at Texas Children’s Hospital. “We’re getting back to a sense of normalcy. I’m officially into remission now and into my maintenance phase.”

Quessenberry was diagnosed with lymphoma when he was competing for a starting job before the last season started .

“I should be able to play ball now,” Quessenberry said. “I wouldn’t be where I am today without everyone’s support.”
