“America’s Next Top Model” alumna Winnie Harlow has made vitiligo part of her signature look, and she’s continuing to bank on it with a new campaign for Diesel.
There’s only so many ways someone can deal with a skin condition like Winnie’s. The model decided that instead of letting it keep her from achieving her dreams, she’s embrace it–and big brands are living for her look!
Winnie, who was born Chantelle Brown-Young, first made a splash on the last cycle of “America’s Next Top Model.” She immediately stood out because of her look, which is decidedly different from most models because of the white patches all over her body.
Now she’s booked a prominent spot in Diesel’s Spring 2015 campaign! While she may not always been in the middle of the frame, she is definitely the center of attention in these ads.
Winnie has come a long way from the days when others would avoid her because of her vitiligo. Check out her story on TED Talks!
