Who would have thought?

You see this gentlemen.  This is my coworker Kiotti.  Sometimes, I feel like I’m talking to him, and he is nodding his head, but I don’t feel like he’s actually listening to anything I’m saying.  I used to get mad at him, but today I learned something new.  According to a study, it has been scientifically proven that men are bad listeners… except when you talk about sports.

A spokeswoman for Ladbrokes, which carried out the research, said: ‘It’s natural that the two genders will find different things interesting and certain topics appeal more than others.  Men are obsessed with sport, gadgets and technology, and often these combine when trying to check scores, place bets or get the latest updates.”

So next time I want to talk to Kiotti about why I’m upset with my sister, I’ll start the convo off with “Did you hear what happened to Hardin?”
