Who is a Big Brother fan? If you remember back, Dick Donato was on BB 8 & BB 13 as the infamous “Evel Dick”. You either loved him or hated him, but he played a good game.
In this season’s Couples Therapy on VH1, Evel Dick comes forth and announces that he is indeed, HIV positive. During his interview with People’s Magazine, Evel Dick said that he found out during BB 13 that he was positive and that is why he left the show.
He does stress that he’s never been involved with needle sharing and that he is not homosexual, but that he mostly likely contracted the disease during unprotected sex.
Dick says he had an epiphany and that he felt going public was better than hiding. He said, “I hope it will remind viewers to get tested, practice safe sex, all those things we know in the back of our minds but maybe don’t do”.
