3rd Annual Walk for Wellness
Support those Living with Diabetes and Chronic Disease
Houston, TX – The Spring Branch Community Health Center will host its 3rd Annual Walk for Wellness to raise awareness and educate the public about chronic health issues related to diabetes and obesity.
WHAT: Walk for Wellness is a 5K walk where the entire family can participate and encourage an active, healthy lifestyle to prevent diseases such as diabetes and obesity. Music, Healthy Snacks, and other fun activities such as a Group Warm-up before the walk and a Photo Booth for your before and after pictures are included in the morning’s festivities.
WHERE: Terry Hershey Park, 15200 Memorial Drive, Houston, TX
WHEN: Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 8:00 am to Noon.
7:30am – On Site Registration Begins
8:30am – Opening Remarks/Sponsorship Recognition
8:50am – Warm Ups
9:00am – Walk for Wellness Starts!
10:00am – Light Snacks
